The reflection …
The reflection effect only works on 3GS and iPod 3G, on previous generations it’s still looking good, with water seam and water texture animation.

On 3GS it’s using 16-21 fps when there is movement. The menu is not very fast but we wanted to show some 3D stuff there too. It’s actually running faster than many other 3D games on iPhone, just give it a try.

What the is everyone here spamming about Tegra. iPhone 3GS is here and now and offers quite impressive shader technology.

Sorry but you need …
Sorry but you need to forget about complex shaders on 3gs . SGX graphic chip inst powerfull enough to do this tasks flawlesly. Its just a mobile chip and his main task is to be power efficient .
I’m thinking that tegra will be on pair or a little better .

It probably was …
It probably was though from what I can tell, the water seems to be the only thing that looks better when you turn on the shader effects. It is quite impressive though if this game is pushing the 3GS to it’s limits then I’m disappointed. I expected more power from this device.

Ah, okay. Thanks.
Is it the result of the developer(s) going all out with shader effects? They couldn’t have turned it down a bit (if that’s possible)? It’s still impressive anyway.

On the 3GS it is slightly choppy when the shader effects are on. When the shader effects are turned off though, the 3GS will run it ridiculously smooth.
